worst hotel, the staff (especially the hotel manager Valentino) were very rude and not helpful at all, I had children under 1 year old and they charged for the children but the rooms were the same as everyone else's. No cot. The staff was Islamophobic. You did not receive any information that you would book breakfast upon check-in. After that the breakfast was limited and when something ran out they didn't refill.
Featuring free Wi-Fi and a restaurant, Manzo's Suites offers the first boutique hotel in Zaandam. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, terrace and bar.

The Russian Tzar House is a must visit.
The Russian Tzar House is a must visit. It is the oldest house in Netherlands, preserved in very good conditions. You will learn a lot. The Zaan Museum also. The Zaanse Schans it is for one whole day or two days visit. A lot of museums. It is very nice. And if it is good wind you are going to smell only chocolate in the air. The bakery just in front of the bridge is having the most delicious patisserie. The restaurants around have great food, nice personnel.

I stayed in Zaandam to get out of the tourist hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. I liked it's proximity to the train connections which were close by and easy to use. It was nice to see another part of Amsterdam. The shopping areas and cafes / restaurants in Zaandam were really good.

There's a lovely canal with shops & restaurants on either side. You have a choice of fast food, healthier options or traditional Dutch dishes. The area is quiet at night, when the day trippers have left. It's a pretty town with interesting architectural styles. It was my first visit & I will be back. It's easy to travel by train to Amsterdam & other destinations & trains are fairly frequent. My hotel was within easy walking distance of the station & the shops mentioned above. The Albert Heijn supermarket is open 7 days a week until 10pm.

Visit the windmills, go to a restaurant, travel to Amsterdam or the beach. All these are easy to do from here with a car and Amsterdam is easy with public transport. Lots of lovely canals and things to photograph.
I stayed for 6 nights with my family of 2 kids. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full equipped kitchen, living room with TV and audio. Demian and Agata live next door, easy to get connected in case needed. My kids are big fan of the cottage. Location wise is very good, 2 stops away from Amsterdam Centraal by Intercity or Sprinter. Zaandam itself is a very good neighbourhood to bring kids. Close to Dekamart, Albert Heijn and Zaandam city center. Our stay in Holland has been memorable!
Staff were so lovely and lent us a European plug for a week when we forgot ours - the room was really clean and quite modern, and the cleaners did an amazing job with cleaning the rooms. In terms of location, there was a regular bus to the centre of Zaandam/train station, every 25 mins or so which took around 15 mins to get to the station. Was easy to travel to Amsterdam/across the Netherlands. Really good value for money and better than staying in Amsterdam in our opinion!
Very clean, very friendly/helpful staff and nice, adequate choice continental-style buffet breakfast. Location is quiet residential area but still easy walk to train station and nice restaurants/bars. Aircon was good and bed comfy with good shower. Only 15 mins from central Amsterdam (2 stops) although direct trains are only every 30 mins or so. Good access to Zahnne Schans etc if you are keen to see places that are not city centre.
The bed was very comfortable. The staff were helpful. It was a short taxi ride to the place with the windmills and folk village. There was a supermarket near the hotel. The hotel was close to Zaandam station. You exit the station to the right and go down in the lift then turn right at the bottom. It was a bit difficult to find the first time but easy when you know the way.
Clean room, good beds, great staff, nice breakfast, location near the train station (300 m), everything within easy reach, several restaurants nearby where you can eat, there is a market across the street from the hotel, Zaandam is a nicely decorated and substantial place within easy reach of Amsterdam (two stops by train) which has everything you could need.
I would return to this Hotel in a second, it is very well located steps from the train station, steps from a supermarket, restaurants and stores, besides the Hotel itself is very very modern, great facilities, enormous rooms, bar and the breakfast area is superb, has a great and secure parking in the property that is a plus.
Much cheaper alternative than staying in Amsterdam, Zaandam is quite a nice town and only 2 stops on the train from central Amsterdam. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. Hotel is next to some nice cafes and restaurants and a nice shopping centre.
I liked everything. Metro was very close to the hotel, easy transfer to Amsterdam Central.
The young Lady at the reception, i think her name is Noha if i remember correctly, she was really helpful, i wish every hotel had staff like her.
The room was great and so were the staff. They would provide you with whatever you needed. The hotel is located right next to Zaandam station which was convenient. Zaandam itself is nice to see before taking a 15 min train to Amsterdam.
The location is super...just walking by to the town centre which is the main attraction of Zaandam. We didn't take the breakfast because there are a lot of choices around the hotel that we tried some
The Location of the Hotel is very close to the train station..around the hotel are the shopping stores..coffee shops..restaurants..market and etc..
Very friendly and polite people ..
Close to the train station and near stores and restaurants. Walkable location. Price was better than hotels nearby. We got our wake up call within 5 minutes of the time requested.
Lovely location. Really handy for travel and Zaandam a nice little place in itself. Hotel quirky on outside. We had a lovely room (nicer than our travel buddies).
Easy to found out for good hotel is golden zaan. They are having wonderful bed and rick breakfast. The most beautiful was the rooftop pool. High recommend!!
